Introduction: " Innovation " is really difficult to do. For any company, technological innovation requires a lot of money and time to achieve technical stability, which is even more unbearable for small and medium-sized enterprises. But innovative technology must have the potential to fill market gaps , which is the development direction we are pursuing.
The word "innovation" is easy to say, but very difficult to do. For any company, technological innovation requires a lot of money and time to achieve technical stability. For small and medium-sized enterprises, it is even more unbearable, like a big mountain pressing on the head of the company.
The marketing of innovative products is, in a sense, more difficult and more expensive than technological innovation.
As an original MCS high-end industrial pressure sensor technology, Xi'an Zhongxing Measurement and Control Company has entered its ninth year from its conception to today. Although there were some sales the year before and last, they were only on point.
First, when used on aircraft, the main focus is on high-performance indicators in the full temperature range of minus 60 degrees to 85 degrees, especially low-temperature indicators.
Secondly, for applications on railway tracks, the main focus is on the low temperature of minus 45 degrees to the high temperature of about 80 degrees above zero. At the same time, the main focus is on long-term stability. For example, calibration is exempted within three years, saving future customer maintenance personnel costs, which is equivalent to saving a large amount of long-term personnel travel costs for our MCS pressure sensor customers.
At the beginning of 2024, MCS high-end industrial pressure sensors will begin to carry out market promotion from point to point, exploring Chinese originality and not relying on foreign technology at all. In those application fields, they can not only be widely used in China, but also develop overseas. The country blossoms and bears fruit.
From the end of 2023 to today, January 18, 2024, we have received four more orders in different application fields .
The first order, a customer in Europe, chose our absolute pressure of 3.5Mpa for automotive testing, especially the 150-degree high temperature test, with a comprehensive measurement accuracy of 0.5%. According to customers, they have tested products from many companies around the world and their operating performance under high temperature conditions is very poor. Of course, they also have to consider cost issues.
The second order came from a user in Nanjing and was used for airborne equipment . Of course, high and low temperature performance must be taken into consideration. At the same time, the most important thing is the comprehensive accuracy in the full temperature range. The measuring range is 1Mpa and 50Mpa, and the comprehensive accuracy must reach 0.02%. Such requirements are also difficult to meet for other existing sensor technologies, and the production cycle and cost will not be small.

The third order, from a customer in Beijing , requires pressure ranges of 6Mpa and 10Mpa, and hopes for digital output with a comprehensive accuracy of 0.05%. When used in factory measuring equipment , the environment is much better, almost normal temperature.
The fourth order is from a Shenzhen pressure transmitter manufacturer, with a pressure range of 500kpa and an accuracy of 0.5%. Such a requirement can be easily fulfilled by most of our MEMS oil-filled core manufacturers. However, the customer's customers resolutely do not use the oil-filled type, mainly because the application environment is worried that silicone oil leakage will cause equipment paralysis. Even if the unit price exceeds 500 yuan from a world-famous Swiss MEMS manufacturer, I dare not use it. Our MCS pressure sensor has nothing to do with oil.
Based on the recent customer demands from four orders, we realize that innovative technology must have the potential to fill the market gap. Regarding the existing internationally popular pressure sensor technology, which has a lower pressure range, below 1Mpa, a comprehensive accuracy of 0.5%, and high reliability and stability, oil-filled and sealed types are rejected. Our MCS high-end pressure sensor from Xi'an Zhongxing Measurement and Control Company has great application potential. This may be one of the directions we strive for.
