With the rapid development of AIoT technology, the visual perception ability of smart devices has become the key to improving user experience and device intelligence. 1. Product characteristics

(1) High-performance AI ISP empowers image processing

The A1 chip is equipped with self-developed AI ISP technology, covering resolutions from 0.3MP to 8MP. Compared with traditional ISP algorithms, it can achieve better noise reduction effects in ultra-low light environments, providing high-definition, high-contrast, and low-noise real-time images for cameras, and improving the accuracy and efficiency of image capture and processing optimization of smart vision devices in low-light conditions such as outdoor without lights at night. At the same time, it supports up to 3 frames of HDR synthesis, with a dynamic range of up to 120dB, which can effectively solve the situation of overexposure of local details or loss of dark details under complex lighting conditions such as strong light and backlight, bringing a well-layered and detailed image to the device. In addition, the built-in RGB-IR ISP module can realize the synchronous output of RGB and IR image formats, meet the requirements of the robot depth module for color image processing and depth calculation, and ensure the accuracy and response speed of intelligent devices such as robots in moving, navigation, obstacle avoidance and other task decisions. With up to 2 sensor inputs and synchronous processing capabilities, it can be adapted to image sensors of various specifications and shutter types, and flexibly realize a variety of industrial and consumer multi-vision application scenarios such as binocular stereo vision camera modules.

(2) Self-developed light computing power NPU helps end-side acceleration

The A1 chip is equipped with a self-developed NPU with 0.8TOPS@INT8 light computing power, supports the mainstream CNN architecture in the industry, and optimizes the lightweight neural network structure and vision tasks. Compared with similar products in the industry, the inference efficiency of the A1 chip in the lightweight classification model and detection model is greatly improved by about 97% and 260% respectively, which can further help intelligent visual perception applications improve the accuracy and efficiency of visual data processing and calculation, ensure fast and accurate visual data analysis and processing on the device side, and meet the strict requirements of smart devices for real-time.

(3) Low power consumption and small package size

Thanks to Fling's advanced low-power technology, the new A1 has excellent low-power performance, which helps reduce the overall power consumption of the camera module and reduces the heat generated by the camera module, thereby improving the stability and service life of the device. In terms of packaging, the A1 is available in two small package sizes: 9mm*9mm (QFN) and 7mm*7mm (BGA), which is conducive to the formation of a miniaturized camera module solution, saving space for smart devices, especially for smart hardware and wearable devices that are sensitive to volume and power consumption.

3. Application scenarios

(1) Intelligent hardware field

In the field of emerging intelligent hardware such as AI pet robots, the A1 chip is adapted to the 0.3MP-2MP global shutter CMOS image sensor to form a variety of monocular/binocular intelligent visual perception module solutions. As the "eye" of the robot, it can not only achieve accurate and high-quality RGB or IR image processing and output, but also support the operation of visual algorithm applications such as face/object detection and recognition, helping AI pet robots and other intelligent hardware devices to complete the real-time perception of the user's expression, state and emotion on the end side of the visual perception module, improve the intelligent interactive experience of the device, and provide users with a more intimate, Nature's companionship service.

The A1 chip is paired with a 3MP-6MP low-power fast-start CMOS image sensor and a fisheye lens to form a low-power visual perception solution with a large field of view. Relying on the image processing and visual recognition algorithm of the A1 chip, the location distribution of personnel can be accurately determined, and the air outlet angle and wind speed of the equipment can be adjusted in time to provide users with an intelligent and comfortable experience and create a more convenient and energy-saving home environment.

(3) Industrial code scanning field

For industrial machine vision system application scenarios such as automated production lines, the A1 chip is adapted to the 0.3MP-2MP global shutter CMOS image sensor, and realizes a significant improvement in image clarity through real-time processing and optimization of high-frame-rate sensor image input. At the same time, it supports the operation and result output of lightweight algorithm applications (barcode reading and identification, counting detection, etc.), and completes fast and accurate code scanning recognition and detection functions on the end side of industrial cameras, improving production efficiency, reducing labor costs, and ensuring the efficient and stable operation of the production line.

(4) The field of night vision modules

The A1 chip is paired with a 4MP-8MP night vision full-color CMOS image sensor to form a high-performance night vision module solution. In night vision scenes, the solution can capture high-quality real-time images, and optimize processing through the high-performance AI ISP function of the A1 chip to achieve excellent low-light imaging effects, providing clear, layered, and low-noise night vision full-color images for various night vision scene camera applications, which are widely used in security monitoring, field observation, night rescue and other night operation scenarios, ensuring that accurate and reliable visual information can be obtained under low light conditions.
