“Within five to ten years, robots will truly enter the homes of ordinary people,” FFTAI Intelligence stated in its recently released plan. With the explosion of AI technology, the new energy industry continues to develop, and the robotics industry will also be put on the agenda. It can be expected that we will usher in a new life situation in the near future. China exportsemi net today presents to you the current status of Fourier intelligent robots.
FFtai Intelligence: GR-1 is equipped with an integrated FSA actuator and is leading the way in pre-sales and commercialization in September 2023
A general humanoid robot company, with industry-leading commercialization progress. FFtai Intelligence was founded in 2015 and is a general robot platform company. Since its inception, Fourier Intelligence has insisted on focusing on the underlying technology of general robots, constantly overcoming the bottlenecks in the capabilities of core components (execution, perception), and building its own high-tech density, medical-grade robot product mass production and delivery capabilities. Fourier Intelligence has also achieved large-scale application of robot technology in medical rehabilitation scenarios. Through the "Smart Rehabilitation Port" product matrix, it has provided high-performance rehabilitation robots and comprehensive solutions to more than 2,000 customers in more than 40 countries and regions around the world. In July 2023, Fourier Intelligence released its first general bipedal robot product GR-1, and started pre-sales in September 2023. Its commercialization progress has taken an advantage in the industry.
The development history ofFFTAI Intelligence Company :
——FFTAI Intelligence was established in 2015
——In 2016, the upper limb rehabilitation robot M2 was released
——The first commercial lower limb exoskeleton robot in China was released in 2017, exploring the prototype of humanoid robots
——The first to be implemented in the rehabilitation industry in 2018
——Universal humanoid robot project launched in 2019
——Intelligent rehabilitation port solution released in 2020
——Settled in more than 1,000 medical institutions in 2021 to realize commercialization of rehabilitation
——The first generation prototype of humanoid robot will be launched in 2022, and rehabilitation robots will enter more than 2,000 medical institutions
——General humanoid robot GR-1 released in 2023
GR-1: Highly bionic trunk configuration, strong athletic ability. The Fourier intelligent humanoid robot GR-1 is 165cm tall, weighs 55kg, has 44 degrees of freedom throughout the body, can walk at a speed of 5km/h, and can carry a load of 50kg. GR-1 adopts a straight-leg walking scheme to simulate the natural gait of human straight-knee walking, effectively increasing the step length, reducing walking power consumption, and improving walking efficiency. GR-1 has strong athletic ability and has functions such as fast walking, agile obstacle avoidance, stable uphill and downhill slopes, and resistance to impact and interference. It has great potential in various application scenarios such as industry, rehabilitation, home, and scientific research.

The underlying hardware of the full stack is self-developed, and the FSA executor provides efficient execution capabilities. Fourier Intelligence has accumulated underlying technologies such as sensors, integrated actuators, modular design, and mechanical bionic structures during its many years of research and development of humanoid robots, and has a leading edge in the field of actuator joints. The actuator determines the strength, stability, load adaptability, safety and reliability of the robot when performing actions and tasks. GR-1 adopts a motor drive solution and uses the self-developed FSA high-performance integrated actuator, which integrates motor, driver, reducer and encoder into one. The maximum joint module peak torque reaches 300NM, making it more powerful under the same weight. The body is more flexible and the battery life is longer.

Pre-sales will start in September and mass production will be delivered in the next 1-2 years. According to the Fourier Intelligence WeChat public account, GR-1 will start pre-sale on September 26, 2023. The company plans to achieve mass production and delivery in the next one or two years, enable robots to dexterously complete general tasks in about three years, and make robots truly accessible to ordinary people's homes within five to ten years.
