Nvidia's New Version of RTX 4070 Ti Super is Released

Recently, NVIDIA launched a new RTX 4070 Ti Super graphics card with AD102 GPU. This new graphics card not only continues the excellent performance of the RTX 4070 Ti, but also makes efficient use of resources by replacing the core chip, bringing more powerful graphics processing power to gamers and professional users.

The RTX 4070 Ti Super was originally powered by AD103 silicon, but the new graphics card has been upgraded to an AD102 GPU. This change is not a simple hardware replacement, but a significant step forward in Nvidia's quest for higher performance and better resource utilization. As a more advanced GPU core, the AD102 has more processing power and higher efficiency, making the new RTX 4070 Ti Super have better performance in graphics rendering, gaming performance, and more.

Despite the changes in the core chip, the new RTX 4070 Ti Super has not undergone significant changes in specs and performance. The card still has 8,848 CUDA cores, 256-bit 16GB GDDR6X memory, and up to 2,655 MHz boost. These parameters ensure that the new graphics card can maintain the same level as the old one in terms of graphics rendering, gaming performance, etc., and even slightly improve in some aspects.

The new RTX 4070 Ti Super comes with a slight increase in size and weight thanks to the larger AD102 chip. For example, the size of MSI's new graphics card has changed from 308x120×52 mm to 322×156×62 mm, and the weight has also increased from 1107 grams to 1464 grams. While these changes may pose some challenges for installation and cooling, the new graphics card has more weight in terms of look and feel, and is more able to highlight its high-end positioning.

The power consumption of the new RTX 4070 Ti Super has increased slightly, from 285W to 295W. This change is primarily due to the higher power requirements of the AD102 chip itself. However, this increase in power consumption is acceptable considering the significant performance gains of the new graphics cards. At the same time, Nvidia has also optimized the thermal design and improved power efficiency to reduce power consumption and ensure the stable operation of the graphics card.

The RTX 4070 Ti Super, as a member of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 40 Series SUPER graphics cards, is positioned to offer options with more cores and memory capacity than the RTX 4070 Ti. Compared to the RTX 3070 Ti, the new RTX 4070 Ti Super is a significant performance boost, 1.6x faster than the RTX 3070 Ti, and 2.5x faster than the RTX 3070 Ti with DLSS 3 enabled. This makes the new graphics card more advantageous in terms of price/performance ratio, providing new options for those looking for higher performance but on a budget.

In conclusion, the new version of the Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti Super with the AD102 GPU achieves efficient use of resources and performance improvement by replacing the core chip. The new graphics card retains the original specifications and performance, but offers a slight increase in size, weight, and power consumption, but offers more powerful graphics processing power and better value for money. For gamers and professional users who are looking for high performance and a great gaming experience, the new RTX 4070 Ti Super is undoubtedly an option worth considering.
