ASUS's Republic of Gamers (ROG) kicked off the "Ahead of the Game" themed event at Gamescom 2024, showcasing a range of the latest top-of-the-line gaming solutions. These products cover a wide range of innovative designs designed to give gamers a performance edge in the face of fierce competition.
At the event, ROG unveiled a cross-series of AI-PC-ready AMD X870E/X870 motherboards, an improved AIO cooler, new gaming devices, two 26.5-inch QHD OLED gaming monitors, multiple WiFi 7-enabled networking devices, and two high-end power supplies (PSUs). Among them, the ROG Thor 1,200W Platinum III power supply stands out. It features GaN MOSFETs for superior efficiency and a magnetic OLED display that monitors power output in real-time in fan-up or down-facing configurations. ROG Thor also integrates ROG's proprietary GPU-First voltage detection and intelligent voltage stabilizer to ensure consistent performance. In addition, turbo mode boosts overall performance, and the rog cooler provides excellent cooling to ensure that the device performs well under high loads.
