China's Robotics Surge: Advancing Humanoids and Exoskeletons for a Smarter Future

Recently, the popularity of the robot industry continues to rise, from the technological breakthrough of humanoid robots to the application of exoskeleton robots, China is accelerating the development of the intelligent robot industry chain, showing strong market potential.

The humanoid robot industry is moving towards large-scale commercialization

On April 15, the second Chinese Humanoid Robot and Embodied Intelligence Industry Conference was held in Beijing, and the "2025 Humanoid Robot and Embodied Intelligence Industry Research Report" released at the meeting showed that the market size of Chinese humanoid robots is expected to reach 8.239 billion yuan in 2025, accounting for 50% of the global market. The report points out that with the continuous innovation of technology, the expansion of application scenarios, and the support of policies and capital, the humanoid robot industry is expected to move from the technical verification period to the large-scale commercial period in 2025, and may replicate the development path of new energy vehicles and become a new engine for China's economic growth.

The embodied intelligence market is also growing rapidly. The report predicts that the global market size will reach 19.525 billion yuan in 2025 and is expected to exceed 232.63 billion yuan in 2030, with a compound annual growth rate of 64.18%. In the face of this trend, China is relying on the huge domestic demand market to accelerate the breakthrough of technological shortcomings and promote the autonomy of the supply chain to seize the right to speak in industry standards.

For the first time, the Canton Fair has set up a special area for service robots to showcase multiple applications

On the same day, the 137th Canton Fair kicked off, with the theme of "Advanced Manufacturing", attracting 11,304 exhibitors, including about 3,700 enterprises related to "new three", digital technology and intelligent manufacturing. It is worth noting that for the first time, the Canton Fair added a special area for service robots, exhibiting a variety of products including humanoid robots, firefighting robots, pet robots, educational robots, photovoltaic cleaning robots, etc., attracting many merchants to stop and experience.

In the exhibition area, interactive projects such as robot dexterous hand demonstration and coffee making robot have become the focus, and some merchants are also discussing cooperation in the intelligent industrial exoskeleton exhibition area, showing the market's strong interest in robot technology.

The exoskeleton robot has accelerated its landing, and the price advantage is significant

At the same time, at the 5th China International Consumer Products Expo, Aosha Intelligent displayed a variety of exoskeleton robot products, including FIT-HV waist exoskeleton robot, FIT-U upper limb exoskeleton robot, etc. After trying them on, the audience reported that these devices can effectively assist in carrying heavy objects and reduce the burden on the body. At present, the exoskeleton products of Aosa Intelligence have been put into use in many elderly care institutions in Shanghai to help caregivers transfer the elderly more safely.

With its self-developed servo motor and chip-level hardware design, Aosha has reduced the price of exoskeleton products to the consumer-level level, and the starting price of the industrial version is only about 10,000 yuan, which is only one-fifth of similar products. The company also plans to develop a lighter personal exoskeleton to benefit more ordinary consumers.

Conclusion

From the industrial planning of humanoid robots to the commercial display of service robots, and then to the practical application of exoskeleton robots, China's robot industry is ushering in a comprehensive explosion. With the growth of technology iteration and market demand, this field may become a new highland for global intelligent manufacturing competition.
