This article continues the content of the previous article " Guge Talks about Sensors: A 50,000-kilometer Journey of China's Sensor Technology Promotion", and records the author's business trip to Melbourne, Australia. The article begins with the author's arrival in Melbourne on a Boeing 787 aircraft of Xiamen Airlines, and describes in detail the experience of entry, car rental, business visits, cultural exchanges, and other aspects. China Exportsemi Web will share excerpts from the business visits with our readers.
In the communication with customers, Gu Ge found that the development of Australia's sensor and Internet of Things industry is relatively lagging behind, and it is difficult for customers to list well-known local sensor companies or products. This provides an opportunity for promotion and cooperation in China's sensor and IoT industry.
The following is the original sharing:
From half past nine in the morning to half past nine in the evening, I drove nearly 500 kilometers to visit two customers of Chinastar and Control Company, and introduced our company's innovative pressure/temperature sensors, wireless Bluetooth integrated pressure/temperature sensors, as well as the Internet of Things and IoT hardware and software platforms, etc., of course, it also represents the trend of sensors and the Internet of Things in Shaanxi and even China.
Among them, Company A is very interested in Chinastar TTC IoT technology and application, and also put forward the typical problems that need to be solved in the construction of smart cities in Australia, we conducted technical exchanges on the spot and put forward feasible ideas and solutions for follow-up further docking research, which is a new problem and has a large market space, hoping to become a typical example of Chinastar IoT technology settled in Australia.

Both customers spoke highly of Chinastar's sensors, hoping that the old product could further expand the transaction scale, and that the new product could provide new solutions, such as a liquid level sensor with an adjustable display.

In the visit and exchange with customers, there are two phenomena worthy of Brother Gu's list here. One is more superficial, there are Chinese employees working here in the production workshops or offices of two customers, and we are greeted in Chinese when we see us, indicating that the proportion of Chinese in Australia will not be small. I don't know if this is worthy of our Chinese pleasure? Or are you happy? Judges have their own opinions.

Second, the content is more profound, customers have mentioned that on the basis of further strengthening cooperation with Chinastar and Control Company, they all hope that we can have a company outside China to provide them with high-quality products, mainly from the supply chain considerations, what are they worried about? Politically, is it so serious??
Chat with customers during lunch and dinner and ask them the same question, what about the sensor industry in Australia? What is the current status of the development of the IoT industry? The answer is almost negative, and it is difficult for them to name the Australia sensor company or the famous product. Customer B's understanding of the Internet of Things is much more superficial than that of customer A, and it may be that we have different levels of customers. Of course, it is necessary to promote the sensor Internet of Things industry and its innovation and progress in Shaanxi Province and China.
Editor's note: Guge, formerly known as Gu Rongxiang, is currently the chairman and general manager of Xi'an Chinastar and Control Co., Ltd. He continued to serialize a series of essays on his personal WeChat public account, recording his own cognition and perception of the sensor and Internet of Things industry, and China Exportsemi Web authorized to reprint his article, so that readers can look at the past, current situation and development of this industry from the perspective of a senior industry person.
