This business trip to Sydney, in addition to visiting major customers, but also to participate in the Australia refrigeration exhibition ARBS2024, to understand the scale and technical level of the Australia air conditioning and refrigeration industry, so as to facilitate us to promote various sensors in this industry, including pressure sensors, temperature sensors, sensors of various wireless technologies, industrial Internet of Things and so on.

ARBS 2024 Australia Refrigeration Exhibition, the overall scale is relatively small, compared with the United States Refrigeration Exhibition and China Refrigeration Exhibition is much smaller. United States Refrigeration Exhibition exhibitors 2~3,000; There are also 3~4,000 participants in the China Refrigeration Exhibition. But there are only 900 refrigeration shows in Australia, including some university and media and skills competition booths.

The pressure sensor of Xi'an Chinastar Company has been applied in many world-famous air conditioning and refrigeration enterprises, and has been well received by users for more than ten consecutive years, and the number of customers is also increasing.

The overall manufacturing industry in Australia is still relatively small, and many exhibitors are agents from Europe, United States or China. Among them, there are not many manufacturers that exhibit sensors, and some of them sell controllers and bring sensors casually. Two sensor manufacturers came to the exhibition, one is Huba, which is from Switzerland, which was acquired by a Chinese company, mainly pressure sensors; The other is Vaisala in Finland, which is mainly high-end temperature and humidity sensors.

Before coming to this exhibition, I imagined that there should be no manufacturers of the Internet of Things, and I inspected the exhibition hall and found that there were three companies that were relatively focused on the Internet of Things. This also reflects that in Australia, the Internet of Things is not only in smart life, but also slowly penetrates into smart intelligent manufacturing.

This is an Internet of Things manufacturer who hopes to cooperate with Xi'an Chinasatr, this guy has been to China many times, is relatively friendly to China, and also understands some of the situation of China's Internet of Things, and it is more pleasant to talk about, I hope we have some in-depth cooperation in the intelligent manhole cover monitoring system.

It is said that this is a company under Honeywell that focuses on industrial Internet of Things, but looking at their booth, whether it is looking at the equipment or listening to the introduction, it feels like they are still doing industrial automation. I don't know if you know the development status of this company's Internet of Things? Welcome to introduce in the comment area.

This is a "Tiger IOT" company from Malaysia, but the manufacturer is Liaoning, China, and does not see the hardware or application platform of the Internet of Things. The Malaysia sister at the booth introduced that they have wireless valves, but all kinds of ordinary valves on display are on display. According to reports, they feel that the industrial application of the Internet of Things in Australia is still a bit premature. I wonder if you have the same feelings? Feel free to comment at the back of the article!

From 11 o'clock in the morning, I have been visiting the booths one by one, and by 4 o'clock in the afternoon, almost half of the exhibition hall has been turned. Because I had a dinner reservation with a customer in the evening, I left the exhibition early.

The customer invited us to the other side of the bay for dinner, halfway by boat for more than 20 minutes, just to enjoy the famous Sydney Opera House, Sydney Bay in the evening, it still looks very beautiful, but unfortunately the ship is shaking the mobile phone pixels are not enough.

In the evening, we talk with customers about work, life, family, and more about the culture, food and living habits of different countries. Of course, let's also talk about Sino-US relations, the double standards of United States and the rise of China. the rapid development of electric vehicles in China, the rapid expansion of BYD and Chery Automobile in Australia; Talking about the question of why Taiwan and Chinese mainland are separated, different views do not affect mutual exchanges.

The conversation was so lively, it was past nine o'clock in the evening. It's time to say goodbye.

Editor's note: Brother Gu, formerly known as Gu Rongxiang, is currently the chairman and general manager of Xi'an Chinastar. He continued to serialize a series of essays on his personal WeChat public account, recording his own cognition and perception of the sensor and Internet of Things industry, and China Exportsemi Web authorized to reprint his article, so that readers can look at the past, current situation and development of this industry from the perspective of a senior industry person. For ease of reading, the article has been changed when reprinting, here you can read the source text: When traveling on a business trip, Gu Ge talks about sensors (114).
