From September 27 to 29, 2024, the China Computing Conference was held in Zhengzhou, Henan Province, where Huawei became the focus of its innovative products and solutions in the fields of computing power, storage capacity, transportation capacity, and digital energy.
Zhou Yuefeng, Vice President and President of Huawei's Data Storage Product Line, delivered a keynote speech at the main forum of the conference, emphasizing the importance of the coordinated development of storage and computing networks, and pointed out that China's digital application process is developing rapidly, and it is necessary to provide China with a sustainable supply of computing infrastructure to provide better choices for the world.

At the conference, Huawei showcased its innovations in five exhibition areas: Computing Network Empowering Thousands of Industries, Surging Computing Power, Advanced Storage Capacity, Quality Transportation Capacity, Green Development & Digital Inclusion. These demonstrations not only cover technology fields such as connectivity, computing, storage, and digital energy, but also include intelligent application experiences for different scenarios such as individuals, families, and industries.
Through the integrated design of computing, network, and storage, Huawei has built a computing power base in the AI era, improved computing power utilization, and built a full-stack collaborative intelligent computing center to meet the demand for ultra-large computing power brought about by the development of large models. This not only enables innovation in all modes and forms, but also empowers the digital transformation of industries such as government, healthcare, finance, and manufacturing.
In terms of green development, Huawei is committed to building green and low-carbon communications and computing infrastructure, and becoming a green and low-carbon "engine of the digital economy". At the same time, Huawei is also actively promoting digital technologies to empower rural education, environmental protection, information accessibility, and balanced development, making the digital world more equitable and sustainable.
Another highlight of Huawei's presence at the conference was the signing of a comprehensive cooperation agreement with the Henan Academy of Sciences. The two sides will cooperate in the fields of joint scientific research, the establishment of an external scientific research service platform, and joint technology empowerment activities, so as to jointly promote the development of scientific research in Henan Province.
In addition, Zhengzhou Apas Digital Cloud Information Technology Co., Ltd. signed a comprehensive cooperation framework agreement with Huawei, under which the two parties will jointly promote the application and research and development of native and industry large models based on the Ascend route, work together to continue innovation in the field of medical digital intelligence, and accelerate the deep integration of advanced artificial intelligence and medical scenarios.
Huawei also jointly released the results of the intelligent medical and health system with the studio of Mecoll. Based on the Ascend AI full-stack software and hardware platform, the studio has successfully built three innovative systems: Parkinson's disease screening and assessment, adolescent depression assisted screening, and scoliosis surgery simulation training, all of which are important developments in Huawei's intelligent medical field.
