Expansion in Asia: Inauguration of a new plant in Penang, Malaysia

The new plant covers an area of 11,800 square meters and is expected to employ more than 200 people by 2025, possibly more than 500 eventually, with sales expected to exceed 200 million euros. Penang was the ideal choice for LERM's new facility due to its expertise in semiconductor production.
The new plant is equipped with state-of-the-art logistics systems and high-tech production lines, including automated guided vehicle (AGV) technology, to improve production efficiency and product quality. In addition, the new plant is a pilot for LEM to launch a new ERP system and will produce most of its energy from solar panels, demonstrating the company's strong commitment to environmental protection and sustainability.
