Loongson will Launch the Next Generation of 3C6000 Server CPUs

Loongson Zhongke 3C6000 server CPU adopts the independent instruction system LoongArch, which is the first product of Loongson's fourth-generation 64-bit high-performance microarchitecture LA664. This design not only demonstrates Loongson's deep strength in processor research and development, but also reflects the determination of independent innovation and self-reliance in China's chip industry. Through independent research and development and continuous innovation, Loongson Zhongke has successfully broken the monopoly of foreign technology and provided more choices for the Chinese server market.

In terms of performance, Loongson Zhongke 3C6000 server CPU has achieved a significant improvement. It adopts a single-silicon 16-core and 32-thread design, with a frequency of up to 2.5GHz, and supports multi-threading technology. This allows the CPU to exponentially increase the general-purpose processing performance and meet the high-performance computing power requirements of server applications. At the same time, through the Loongson Coherent Link technology, the 3C6000 realizes inter-chip interconnection, which further improves the scalability and performance of the system.

In addition to powerful performance, Loongson Zhongke 3C6000 server CPU also has excellent memory support and high-speed interface. It supports DDR4-3200×4 memory, which doubles the memory access bandwidth compared to the previous generation. At the same time, the CPU also supports DDR4, PCIe 4.0, HT3.0 and other high-speed interfaces, providing an efficient channel for data transmission. These characteristics make Loongson Zhongke 3C6000 have a wide range of application prospects in the server field.

In order to meet the needs of different server applications, Loongson Zhongke also plans to launch higher-end server chips, such as the 32-core 3D6000 and the 64-core 3E6000. These chips will be formed using chiplet technology to package two and four 3C6000 silicon wafers, respectively, so that the number of processor cores can be flexibly expanded. This design not only improves the performance of the processor, but also reduces the production cost, so that more users can enjoy the convenience of high-performance computing.

The initial sample of Loongson Zhongke 3C6000 series processors has been returned to the film, and it is generally in line with expectations in the test. This marks that Loongson Zhongke has made an important breakthrough in the field of server CPUs and injected new vitality into the development of domestic processors. With the official release of Loongson Zhongke 3C6000, we can expect that in the near future, domestic processors will occupy a more important position in the global market and contribute more to the rise of China's information industry.
