Zeekr and Mobileye have announced a new strategic plan to accelerate the localization of Mobileye's cutting-edge driver safety and automation technologies into the Chinese market and their application in Zeekr's next-generation models. The deepening of this collaboration aims to further enhance Zeekr's level of driving safety and automation in the global market and meet the growing demand for smart mobility solutions from Chinese consumers.
Since the end of 2021, Zeekr has delivered more than 240,000 Zeekr 001 and Zeekr 009 vehicles powered by the Mobileye SuperVision platform to customers worldwide. The SuperVision platform brings users a superior driving experience with its advanced visual perception technology and assisted driving functions. To better adapt to the Chinese market, Zeekr and Mobileye plan to accelerate the localization process and delivery of the core technology of the SuperVision platform.
The expansion of this collaboration will enable Zeekr to take Mobileye's road smart technology to new heights in its vehicle lineup. Zeekr's engineers will take deeper advantage of Mobileye's technology stack and development tools, which will not only help validate and analyze data, but also facilitate rapid iteration and upgrades of the software.
In addition, the collaboration will promote the localization of Mobileye's driving experience platform (DXP) in the Chinese market. DXP is a flexible platform that allows automakers to tailor the style and customer experience of autonomous driving to the needs and preferences of the local market.
