Corelink DAC-CL4651

The CL4651 digital-to-analog converter (DAC) is a 16-bit high-precision, low-power, voltage output device. The CL4651 is designed to be monotonic and provide less than 1LSB linearity. The device includes a 2.5V, 5ppm/˚C internal reference that provides a full-scale output voltage range of 1.25V, 2.5V, or 5V. The CL4651 incorporates a power-on reset circuit that ensures that the DAC output powers up at zero or midscale and remains there until valid code is written to the device. These devices consume a low 1mA current and feature a power-down feature that reduces current consumption to 1.6µA (typ) at 5V. The digital interface of CL4651 can be configured into SPI or I2C mode through the SPI2C pin. In SPI mode, the CL4651 uses a general-purpose 3-wire serial interface operating at clock frequencies up to 50MHz. In I2C mode, CL4651 supports standard (100kbps), fast (400kbps) and fast+ (1.0Mbps) operating modes.
