AGILIC mobile communication broadband frequency synthesizer ATC79550
The ATC79550 allows the implementation of a fractional-N or integer-N phase-locked loop (PLL) frequency synthesizer if used with an external loop filter and an external reference frequency. The ATC79550 has an integrated voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) with a basic output frequency range of 2200 MHz to 4400 MHz. In addition, 1/2/4/8 or 16 divider circuits allow the user to generate RF output frequencies as low as 137.5 MHz. For applications requiring isolation, the RF output stage can be muted. The mute function is pin- and software-controlled. An auxiliary RF output is also available and can be turned off if not in use. Control of all on-chip registers is through a simple 3-wire interface. The device operates from a 3.0 V to 3.6 V supply and can be powered down when not in use.
