Over the past two decades, the company has adhered to the concept of not forgetting the original ""core"". On the basis of realizing automated large-scale mass production of optical communication devices, it has developed intelligent packaging and testing platforms for semiconductor chips such as photoelectric sensing and Internet of Things system applications, and established laser radar, there are multiple production lines for MEMS sensor devices, sensing light sources, SiC devices and modules. The company ranks first in the country in terms of shipments of domestic MEMS temperature sensors used in ear thermometers, with stable product quality and high yield. The optical fiber temperature and depth measurement system is the first in the country to realize the industrialization of optical fiber sensing technology instead of electrical sensing. At the same time, it will pass the IATF16949:2006 management system certification in 2022, and its lidar products will be successfully used in vehicles, becoming a core supplier to mainstream car companies.

On July 1, 2023, the SAN-U Industrial Park project located in Tongxiang High-tech City was successfully capped. SAN U Optoelectronics expanded its investment in Xiamen Torch High-tech Zone and built a new SAN U Optoelectronics Industrial Park. The SAN U Optoelectronics Industrial Park project has a total construction area of approximately 48,000 square meters, including two factory buildings and an office complex. The project will start construction at the end of 2022, with a planned construction period of 24 months. The project plans to build 18 production lines. In addition to integrating existing production lines, it will also build new 5G transport network equipment optoelectronic devices, SiC (silicon carbide) series products above 1200V, sensing light sources, and MEMS (microelectromechanical systems) chip packaging.
