It focuses on the research, development and sales of cellular mobile communication chips and software, and is committed to designing the world's leading cellular IoT chips. Globally, Egencomm is one of the very few companies that has the ability to independently develop cellular communication chips, except for world-class companies such as Qualcomm, HiSilicon, Samsung, MTK, and Unisoc.   

In the past five years, Movecore Communications has launched two NB-IoT chips and a Cat.1bis chip to the market, both of which have been mass-produced. Among them, the NB-IoT series chips EC616 and EC616S have received massive orders from many head module manufacturers and have been used by more than 1,000 companies due to their ""low cost, low power consumption, high performance, high reliability, wide voltage"" and other characteristics. Adopted by end customers; Cat.1bis series chip EC618 has huge advantages in low power consumption and low cost. It has been recognized by customers immediately after mass production and is expected to gain a considerable share in the Cat.1bis market. At present, the company has completed the C round of financing. Top investment institutions and leading securities firms have invested in it, and large state-owned funds have continued to support it.

All core technologies and IP of Egencomm are self-developed, including algorithms & architecture, radio frequency, baseband, SoC, protocol stack software, platform & application software and hardware solutions. As the leader in NB-IoT Internet of Things chips, the company is gradually developing a full range of products for various communication standards and transmission rates in cellular communications, and will soon launch highly competitive 5G RedCap/eMBB chips.
