Founded in 1977, Yageo is the world's leading passive component service provider. Its production and sales bases cover Asia, Europe and the Americas. It provides customers with "one-time purchase service" and supplies complete resistors, capacitors, inductors, transformers, and relays, antennas, wireless components and circuit protection components and other passive components to meet the needs of customers in various fields of application. Yageo Corporation was listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange in October 1993. The service customer base is very diverse, including the world's leading EMS, ODM, OEM and dealers.

Yageo is currently the world's largest manufacturer of chip resistors (R-Chip) and tantalum capacitors (Tantalum Capacitors), and the third largest manufacturer of multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCC) and inductors, with 29 locations in 24 countries around the world.
